Walleye Outreach Plan and Survey
Hello BSLA membership and friends.
Here is an informational message from the Bureau of Fisheries Management of the Wisconsin DNR. It includes a link to the current draft of the Walleye outreach plan. When you go to the link you will find the plan draft and a link to a questionnaire. Your participation is welcome.
Greetings!
On behalf of the Wisconsin Walleye Team, I’m pleased to announce we have a draft of the updated plan that is ready for your review. We worked hard to incorporate all of the excellent public input we received to this draft. It’s a big document, but walleye are an important species with a lot of complicated management considerations.
At this stage we are looking for public comments on the draft plan. We have set up a spot on the web where you can read the plan and then access a form to tell us what you think. We will review all of the comments we receive and will use them to strengthen and revise the draft before it continues into later stages of review.
Here’s where to go: https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/fishing/outreach/WalleyePlan
Look for the “We want your input” tab part way down the page.
Thank you for your patience as we put all of this together. We’re looking forward to continuing to work with you to improve Wisconsin walleye.
